LEO LAMONTAGNE is a graduate of Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Dance and a minor in Not-For-Profit Business.
He started dancing at his mother's studio, North Andover School of Dance, at a very young age. He was first introduced to Jump Rhythm Jazz Project in 1999 in a master class in Boston, taught by artistic director Billy Siegenfeld. After that one class he knew there was much more to the Jump Rhythm Jazz and Tap techniques and chose to study it at Northwestern. While there he performed Billy's choreography in the faculty production Daceworks and founded TONIK Tap, NU's first and only tap dance company. He became a member of the Jump Rhythm family after graduating in June 2005 and feels blessed to be a part of this community. He would like to thank his parents and all the people close to him for their support and patience along the way.
