HUW GILBERT has been making rhythm for more than 30 years.
He started taking creative dance classes in Seattle with his mother, Anne Green Gilbert, when he was an infant, and he hasn't stopped dancing, singing, acting or drumming since. Huw's performance experience includes television commercials, musical theatre, modern dance, and drumming with jazz bands, symphony orchestras and the Northwestern University Marching Band. It was at Northwestern that Huw began studying Jump Rhythm Technique. A member of JRJP since 2000, Huw has performed around the U.S. and Canada, has participated in choreographic residencies at Randolph Macon Woman's College, Lynchburg, VA and The Dance Inn, Lexington, MA and has taught Jump Rhythm at studios and schools from coast to coast. Huw's choreography was featured in the 2002 and 2003 "Special K" musical reviews at the Kellogg School of Management, which starred his talented wife Tindley. Huw now lives in New York City with Tindley and their golden retriever, Hudson.
