From our recent residency at
The Arts Academy,
Turku University of Applied Sciences

This April, Jump Rhythm returned to Finland to hold its fifth residency at  The Arts Academy, Turku University of Applied Sciences, culminating in a joint performance with the company and students.

From David Yoken, professor of Music at The Arts Academy, Turku University of Applied Sciences:

"What a remarkable afternoon Billy, Brandi, Jordan, Heidi, Peter, and our students had on stage in our small studio.... Despite its size the roof was blown out with all the energy!"

Jump Rhythm and Standing Down Straight are now registered trademarks

Jump Rhythm Jazz Project is excited to announce that "Jump Rhythm" and "Standing Down Straight" have been granted registered trademarks by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

See what Sharon Hoyer of NewCity had to say about our most recent performance at Northwestern University:

"There’s something incredibly affirming and egalitarian about this philosophy of movement; relaxed, grounded motion is available to anybody and so the technique validates the power and capability of every body. "
